I always think Chicken wings are a bit naf, I'm thinking circa 1989, American chain of restaurants with greasy laminated menus...Do you get the picture?........but We have done a better job with today's special at Niamh's. We first boil the wings in Chinese five spice to tenderise them, then we roast them off in a yummy sticky sauce. Fennel is in season at the moment so we are serving our wings with fennel coleslaw, a spicey dipping sauce and rosemary rustic wedges.
