Mary our pastry chef has been experimenting in the kitchen again and come up with this delicious pudding - a well needed treat on a wet miserable Wednesday- Sticky toffee pudding with baileys and caramel sauce and a big blob of whipped cream........yum yum!
A few years ago I was flicking through a cookery book, which is one of my favourite past times. The name of a salad caught my eye, 'Bang Bang chiken salad'. The explosive name represents exactly how the dish tastes it certainly packs a punch. I loved the combination of ingredients panfried chicken with peanut satay, corriander, mango, rice noodles and of course chilli. I immediately put it on as a special and the feedback was so positive I then put it on our All-Day Menu. As I said already my favourite pass time is delving into cook books and I love to change our menu regularly. But every time I replace the Bang bang chicken salad the out cry is so deafening I have to put my tail between my legs and put it back on.
